The Blessing of a Burden

I arrived in Frankfurt, Germany this Tuesday anxiously awaiting my arrival to Landstuhl, Germany where we will be having our UPC G.S.N General Conference. Indeed there is excitement, anticipation, and a sense of expectation in the air. There are not many words that can quite described what I am feeling during my short lived 1 week stay in Landstuhl, Germany for our 2012 G.S.N General Conference. We are all expecting God to pour out His Spirit upon all flesh, draw those who are lost unto salvation, and instill within many pastors, ministers, and leaders a fresh new vision for the German Speaking Nations! Anything is possible during this conference!  Once more, with the burden we have and driving desire within us, anything will be possible!

Many wonderful men and women have been burdened with prayer for this General Conference. Fasting has become a common action through out the German Speaking Nations as God lays within our hearts a burden for this conference. You can truly see the burden for the city of Landstuhl through the committed outreach and evangelism efforts prior to this conference. Indeed there is a burden that is evident through the nations of Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland for God to demonstrate Himself with miracles, signs, and wonders during this conference and after! There is no doubt that the people serving within these nations are preparing for a conference that will house the Holy Ghost filling presence of God! These waters that have been stirred will again be stirred with Jesus' name baptism during this wonderful General Conference. There is no doubt once again, that this conference will be a historical life changing event for many lovely souls, and will be a catalyst for an apostolic revival to continue to sweep through the lost city of Landstuhl, Germany.

With that being said, now we are all faced with the undying question. Where would this excitement, anticipation, and expectation be if it were not for the blessing of a burden? Where would our vision be for this G.S.N General Conference if it were not for a burden? Where would our desire be for miracles, signs, and wonders if it were not for this weighty burden from God? Where would this promised latter day revival be, if we, the Apostolic Church of today, was not being driven from within by a burden, which is most definitely a blessing? And how would we ever truly fulfill the great commission through many different venues, if it were not for a burden?

Today, please know that the burden you carry is not a weight from this world or from Satan. It is not something you have to carry, but it is a weight from God and it is something we get to carry!
