I could be here or I could be there. You may be wondering where is here and where is there? I can simply sum up this tongue twisting thought in five little words, "our mission field is now." And yes, everyone has a mission and there is a field that is white unto harvest. Sunday school teacher, yes. Pastor, yes. Evangelist, yes. Missionary, yes. Usher, yes. Saint, yes. No matter what office you hold there is a mission you have, Matt. 28:19, and a harvest that is ready. No matter if your field of burden is there but you're here, and no matter if you long to be where God has called you, just understand that God may have called us to a specific location, but in His infinite wisdom he has us here...instead of there. As complicated as this may sound and unfair as it may seem at times, there is an undeniable peace in the thought that we can have revival no matter where our feet tread! No matter the demographic influence. No matter the culture. No matter the language spoken. No matter the longitude and latitude. Revival can be brought, to a possibly drought stricken land, if we focus on not always going where we are called, but simply focus on what we were called to do in the location we may be in, even if it means you are not there, but still here. Enjoy where God has you. Have revival now! And always remember, "your mission field is now."
